The United States Supreme Court will hear a local case Monday.
It’s over a six-year battle between Fane Lozman and the City of Riviera Beach.
Lozman’s floating home was towed from the marina and destroyed.
A state court agreed with Lozman that the city did not have the right to tow away his home, but a federal judge then sided with the city during an appeal.
The Supreme Court will decide whether the state can override federal law when it comes to floating homes.
